Cardinal Waiting for Spring

‘Waiting for Spring’

I snapped a photo of this handsome cardinal a couple of weeks ago, outside our kitchen window. He looked so eager for the foliage to pop out on the tree.  I was glad I caught him that day because TODAY the “official” first day of spring, the leaves are providing a nice cover for this guy.  I will have a hard time getting a clear shot of him from now til winter. I love this time of year and all that fresh bright green on the trees!  Enjoy the day!
